Micro-Frequencies and Regulation

Regulation refers to the body’s ability to maintain balance and adapt to internal and external stress over time.

This includes processes related to:

nervous-system balance

stress response

rest and recovery

sensory processing

the body’s ability to settle and return to steadiness after activation

When regulation becomes strained, people may experience ongoing tension, fatigue, overwhelm, heightened sensitivity, or difficulty fully resting and unwinding.

A Gentle Supportive Approach

Micro-frequency approaches are sometimes used with the intention of gently supporting these regulatory processes.

Rather than acting as forceful interventions, they are introduced as subtle, low-level inputs that may support:

shifts between activation and rest

nervous-system settling

patterns of regulation and recovery

the body’s capacity to return to balance over time

Responses are highly individual.

In many cases, changes are experienced gradually and cumulatively rather than immediately.

Within Practice

Within this work, micro-frequencies are approached conservatively and thoughtfully, with attention to:

pacing

individual sensitivity

nervous-system response

gradual integration

The emphasis remains on supporting the body gently, rather than pushing for rapid or dramatic change.
